WTC 2006 // United Kingdom, Hawkstone Park - Saturday's Mini Masters *UPDATED*

Quite an interesting race was held on the Saturday of the UK’s World round with some ex-World championship riders riding a special trial called the ‘Mini-Masters’. The concept was fairly easy: Amos Bilbao, Donato Miglio, Joan Pons, Marc Colomer and Steve Saunders rode five sections of the Youth 125cc class to determine the winner of the day.

And that winner was...Amos Bilbao. In a tie-breaker with Marc Colomer, both men were clean after the five sections, Amos only had a one at the last section which both men had to ride in the Junior line. Marc scored two points and had to accept defeat against the very popular Amos. The crowd loved the event and more than 3000 people were already present at the trial today.
