In the Youth class the battle was pretty close with Molina, Challoner and Botella finishing on 10, 11 and 12 marks lost. It looked like the young Briton Jack Challoner was going to win the trial but a three in the final section cost him dear. He did take the European title thanks to his better results than Pau Botella in the previous trial.
